Axe Throwing • Historical Walk • Open-Fire Feast
Looking for something a little different this autumn?
Join Boots On Adventures and Go Ape at Leeds Castle for a unique afternoon combining axe throwing, medieval history and an open-fire feast in the stunning surroundings of Leeds Castle.
The afternoon will begin with guests splitting into two groups. One group will take part in an exciting axe-throwing experience with Go Ape, while the other joins Boots On Adventures for a fascinating 1½–2 hour historical walk led by Ben. The groups will then swap, meaning everyone gets to experience both activities.
After the activities, we'll gather together around the fire for a hearty medieval-inspired feast, cooked outdoors in Dutch ovens over an open fire and served in rustic bread trenchers.
Guests can choose between:
Beef & Ale Stew – slow-cooked with beef, onions, carrots and herbs.
Vegan Vegetable Stew – a hearty plant-based stew packed with vegetables, beans and herbs.
We'll finish with warm cinnamon baked apples before bringing the afternoon to a close at around 6pm.
