Leading off the High Street is Week Street, the main pedestrianised shopping street. Wander through the Royal Star Arcade, or down the historic Bank Street, Gabriel's Hill, or Market Buildings. Throughout the historic streets of Maidstone Town Centre and in the surrounding villages, you will find a selection of special and unique shops. Of course, with a superb location in the heart of Kent, you may wish to visit one of the local produce farmers’ markets and buy some of the fresh regional goods.
Opening Hours & Parking
Most shops are open Monday - Saturday from 09.00 until 17.30 and Sunday 11.00 until 16.30. Fremlin Walk shops in the town centre are also open for late night shopping every Thursday until 20.00.
Maidstone has many car parks in the town centre for convenient parking, or you may prefer to use the excellent park and ride service.
