These are but a few of the many Maidstone attractions. Wonderful countryside surrounds the town with the Kent Downs to the north and River Medway to the south.
Adventures can be had along the river with the Canoe Trail, which is great with camping stops along the way or if you are inexperienced or don't have your own canoe try the Canoe Safari. The wildlife and flowers along this route are a wonderful experience. Along the river you can stop off at various points and visit attractions like Teapot Island, Yalding or tea shops, cafes and pubs.
