Come and join us at Tyland Barn to discover what's in the pond this summer!
Come and have a go at pond dipping in Tyland Barn's ponds.
Kent Wildlife Trust's education team will show you the best techniques for pond dipping, making sure we don't disturb any of the pond's residents, before you have a go yourself. What will you discover under the surface? We'll look for clues to help us identify the different species in your pond dipping bowls, and find out some fascinating facts about the creatures you've found before safely returning them to the pond.
We'll provide all the equipment you need, please dress appropriately for the weather as the session will be outdoors.
£16 tickets are for one pond dipping bowl, which can be shared by one adult and up to four children, or two adults and up to three children. Bring a friend to share your bowl with!
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Each pond dipping session lasts 1.5 hours. You may find younger children are ready to finish much quicker, the activity is flexible so you can stay for as long as your group would like during the session you have booked.
