About

Ever wondered what life was like during wartime Britain?

Join us for a unique journey into the past this October 11th & 12th, 2025!

Immerse yourself in authentic wartime school lessons, learn how to handle incendiaries with the ARP, and discover the crucial roles of the WVS and nursing services. Watch the Women’s Institute ‘Stock the Nation’s Larder’ and join the Home Guard for some rifle drill training!

From the hardworking Land Army to the RAF troops in training, every aspect of the Home Front comes to life. Enjoy period dancing, stirring concerts, and even a Wartime Harvest Festival Service in our chapel.

It’s not just history – it’s an experience. Bring the whole family and create memories that bridge generations.

Are you ready to celebrate a hard-earned Wartime Harvest? Mark your calendars and prepare for a weekend that’ll make you appreciate the resilience of those who came before us.

See you there as we honour the past and cherish the present!
