Sell Your Work at Creative Maidstone

Are you a local artist or maker looking for somewhere to sell your work in Maidstone?

Our Retail Zone offers an affordable way to showcase your products, reach new customers and test new ideas without the commitment of running your own shop.

We offer a range of flexible retail spaces for artists and makers, including shelves, wall space and lockable display cabinets. Short- and longer-term options are available, with different display spaces to suit a range of products and budgets.

It is also a great opportunity to connect directly with customers and become part of the creative community at Creative Maidstone.

Retail Space for Artists and Makers

Our retail options include:

Wall Hanging Space

Display approximately 100cm x 100cm of artwork using our STAS hanging system.

There is no hire fee, with a 20% commission (+ VAT) on sales. A £30 joining fee applies to first-time sellers.

Shelves and Display Spaces

We have a range of shelf sizes and display areas for smaller artwork, gifts, crafts and handmade products.

Prices start from £4.50 per week, depending on the size and type of display space.

Lockable Display Cabinets

Our glass-fronted display cabinets are ideal for jewellery, ceramics, small artworks and other valuable or delicate products.

Single shelves or whole cabinets are available, with prices starting from £7 per week.

All retail spaces are subject to availability and selection. We aim to maintain a varied, high-quality range of products for visitors to discover.

Be Part of the Creative Community

Creative Maidstone is more than a place to sell your work. We want to create a vibrant and supportive community for artists and makers.

Retail sellers are encouraged to spend time working in the shop. This helps us keep the Retail Zone open and gives you the opportunity to meet customers, talk about your work and connect with other creatives. Before working in the shop, you will need to complete a short training session of approximately two hours.

Community commitment requirements vary depending on the retail space you choose.

Community commitment days will generally be worked as whole days. It may be possible to work half days if we can find someone to cover the other half
