Creative Maidstone is delighted to share the opportunity of a showcase exhibition inside our Community Arts Hub at the bottom of Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone, Kent.
We welcome artists of any medium who are based anywhere in the South East, as long as they can drop off and collect artworks in person. Our venue is situated within a pedestrian zone during the hours of 10:30am to 5:30pm. However as we are in the town centre, ample parking is available nearby.
Creative Maidstone will invigilate the exhibition, take care of all artworks and sell artworks on behalf of the artists for a 25% commission rate. Creative Maidstone does not charge any other costs to artists other than the sales commission.
Each applicant is welcome to enter up to 4 artworks, however if we receive a high volume of applications we cannot guarantee to accept all submissions.

Maidstone Pride Art Exhibition is a celebration of queer identity, creativity, and community, calling out to local creatives across Maidstone and Medway. We invite artists who want to explore and express what their queerness means to them — how it shapes their lives, their relationships, and their sense of self. This exhibition is about pride in all its forms: loud and defiant, quiet and tender, joyful, political, and deeply personal.
