Celebrating 150 years since St Michael’s Church was consecrated, and the many everyday heroes and heroines who got it on its feet in 1876 and supported it afterwards. Flower arrangements and display to remind us of our history, music on our “Father” Willis organ, a quarter-peal on our historic bells, a chance to enjoy our lovely angel windows, home-made cake and a cuppa, something “crafty” for the children to try, and a talk on why St Michael’s is the kind of church it is.
The event coincides with Ride and Stride; riders, striders and all visitors are invited to enjoy a free cuppa and cake.
