A spectacular free public art trail is in Maidstone this summer! From 29th June to 31st August a herd of fabulously colourful and unique Shaun the Sheep will take you on a free walking trail around our beautiful County town of Maidstone.
The 51 Shaun's are all beautifully designed and created by local and national artists on behalf of the Heart of Kent Hospice. Each sheep has been sponsored by a business or local organisation and will be for sale by auction in the late summer of 2024. So if you fall in love with a specific one you will be able to bid for him and keep him forever.
The location of each Shaun will be revealed on the 29th June at key town centre locations across Maidstone. Each Shaun sculpture will have a unique app code that reveals some exciting rewards to download.
The trail will incorporate Maidstone's vibrant town centre, the stunning river and some hidden gems.
Visitors will also discover a flock of little Shauns, designed and painted by local schools and community groups.
