Creative Maidstone is proud to present a dynamic exhibition of paintings and ceramics made by local artists of colour.
We believe that everyone should have access to art regardless of background, ethnicity, sexuality or gender identity.
The exhibition showcases the amazing talent of local black artists, including:
Abdullahi Abdulrasheed - ceramicist
Deinma Anga - multi-disciplinary artist
Balikis “Keji” Badru - visual artist
Halimah Badmus - ceramicist
Joseph Clinton Ojemuyiwa - multi-disciplinary artist
The exhibition also includes 'Faces of Maidstone' - a collection of photographs and stories honouring Maidstone's black and diverse community champions.
The exhibition is FREE to visit.
