About

Maidstone Museum represents the ideal venue for conducting executive meetings, business conferences, and team workshops, with its setting in the heart of the town ensuring it is accessible and within easy reach of the region’s exceptional range of facilities and services.

You can choose from the historic surroundings of the Bentif Library or the modern, light and airy Glass Room overlooking Brenchley Gardens, or impress clients by booking the whole of the Museum for your private use for an out of hours event.

Both rooms benefit from providing modern facilities as well as the services of dedicated museum staff to help manage your event. In addition, catering staff can ensure that your event provides food and refreshments for all delegates using fresh, locally sourced produce.

The Bentlif Library – which dates from 1890 – has the capacity to hold up to 35 delegates (depending on room arrangement), with décor including mahogany bookcases and magnificent oil paintings for a dramatic ambience.

The Glass Room, meanwhile, represents the modern face of the museum. Flooded with natural light and overlooking  Brenchley Gardens, this boardroom-style room has the capacity to hold up to 18 delegates.

Maidstone Museum is situated in the town centre within 2 minutes walking distance of Maidstone East station.
