Join visual artist Balikis Badru for a creative painting workshop inspired by her oil painting series, The Four Elements. 

Drawing inspiration from Earth, Air, Water and Fire, participants will explore colour, texture and movement through a guided painting activity. 

No previous painting experience is required, making the workshop suitable for beginners and anyone looking to reconnect with their creativity.

What You Will Do

You will be introduced to the themes of Earth, Air, Water and Fire before creating your own artwork inspired by one of the elements. Through guided exercises, you will experiment with colour, texture and expressive mark-making to develop a personal creative response to nature.
You'll use pencils for sketching your designs before moving onto acrylic paints on paper or a canvas board to create your finished artwork, which you will be able to take home at the end of the session.

About the artist

Balikis Badru is a visual artist based in Kent whose work explores nature, identity and human experience through expressive oil painting. Her recent series, The Four Elements, draws inspiration from Earth, Air, Water and Fire, exploring the relationship between emotion, symbolism and the natural world. Alongside her studio practice, she is passionate about making art accessible through community engagement and creative workshops.
