A day of silk painting Have a fun and relaxing day learning to paint on silk, take a home a beautiful silk scarf and create your own A4 silk picture ready to frame.
In this one day workshop you will:
10am - 4pm with a 1 hour break for lunch, bring sandwiches or visit one of the many venues in Maidstone town centre. All materials included Refreshments provided
£95 per person (plus a small booking fee).
About the teacher/artistLaura graduated in 2001 with a degree in Print Media and Surface Design. During this time she became interested in silk painting, creating inticate and colourful designs. Laura has continued to develop this skill, taking on commissions, exhibing and selling her work. Laura is also a Ceramicist and teaches pottery at Aylesford Pottery while also making her own collections of ceramic work.
