Light Up Maidstone

OneMaidstone BID are delighted to be working in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council and Cohesion Plus to deliver Light Up Maidstone. 

Local schools will be taking part in free artistic workshops in the lead up to the festival, creating their own unique lanterns which they will then have the opportunity to showcase during the parade.  The parade will start at Sessions House and pass through the town centre to Jubilee Square where there will be a fantastic climax of entertainment. 

The event will include a lantern parade, street entertainers and more!

Entertainment will begin in the town centre with a brass band from 5pm with the parade beginning at County Hall at 6.30pm culminating in a finale show in Julibee Square.
