Have a look at some of our Mother's Day events for 2019. There some interesting choices to entertain the whole family and to make some memories to treasure along the way.
It is always nice to show a little extra appreciation to those who we love and for our mother's this is the perfect opportunity.
Not everyone has sufficient pocket money to take Mum out to lunch or for afternoon tea but she will appreciate the time you have taken to spend with her. So how about organising a walk through the daffodils in Mote Park or may be going to Mote Park Cafe and buying some wild bird feed and go down to the lake and feed the wild birds.
Or you could take a walk along the Maidstone River Path, look for wild life and may be go home for tea and the homemade cake, that you created with your own fair hands.
A walk through the Woodland Trust's Hucking Estate on the top of the North Downs would be lovely. It is full of green shoots, where the bluebells are starting to show their leaves and the trees are all in bud, with the bright green colour of spring. Look for primroses and wild daffodils and may be take a selfie with your Mum.
