  1. Outdoor & Adventure
    Maidstone has a lot of different outdoor and exciting adventures to take part in. Everything from trying sailing, flying, motorsport, cycling and finding your way walking in the great outdoors.
  2. Walking Trails in and around Maidstone offer hills and views, waterside and countryside, historic and cultural, accessible and not so accessible. Ramblers and amblers all welcome.
    Walking, hiking and pilgrimages across the beautiful county of Kent, taking in The Weald with fruit trees and hop gardens and the North Downs Way National Trail. Great Days Out Walking.
  3. Maidstone is able to offer a variety of watersports throughout the season.  Canoeing and paddleboarding are possible all year but depending on your experience take advice before getting onto the water.  Always wear a bouyance aid.
    Both Mote Park and the River Medway provide an excellent opportunity to learn new watersports skills or to take part in an adventure by canoe, along the very quiet River Medway.
  4. Golf
    Great Golf Courses can be found in the Maidstone area and across Kent and all can be catered for from beginners to international standards.
  5. Great cycling and bike hire in and around Maidstone, tours and days out, hills and river valleys.  Quiet lanes.
    Getting out in the Kent countryside on a bike is a brilliant day out. Some of the cycle trails are suitable for families and easy going, others are harder for the serious cyclists.
  6. Fishing
    A day out fishing can be a wonderful relaxation and Maidstone and the Kent countryside have easy to access lakes and rivers, good facilities and car parking.
  7. Dad and daughter playing tennis
