Boxley Parish Council
Join Boxley Parish Council for a guided walk of Boxley and Sandling.
Meet and Mary and All Saints Church Boxley for a guided walk through the nature of Boxley and Sandling. Route is approximately 3.2 miles with some rough terrain; hiking equipment/attire is advised. Tickets are £5 (under 16s free), will all proceeds going to Kent Wildlife Trust.

Downswood Parish Council
Downswood Parish Council will be giving a guided tour of the reserve and then walk along the river Len as it runs through Mallards Park. Meet at the Spot Lane Nature Reserve.

Fant Nature Reserve
Fant Nature Reserve is a special place for nature and community. There are benches to sit and ponder on, streams to hear flowing, native wildflowers, trees for children to scramble over, a budding orchard, wildlife and birds.
30th anniversary celebrations including drinks, snacks and activities. All free, all welcome (including dogs)!

Summer Walk through the valley
The society will be conducting a circular walk through the valley starting and finishing at Hayle Place to be followed by a cream tea in the gardens.

Stoneacre National Trust
Stoneacre is a 15th-century Medieval yeoman’s house and garden located within the Otham Valley. It is a perfect example of Wealden Hall-House, with beautiful 17th-century furniture, fine art, stained glass and decorative metal work. Surrounding the house is a glorious garden, along with an orchard and meadows. Wonderful woodland walks over the Valley can also begin from here.
Discover the rich beauty of this tiered garden on a Morning Garden Tour led by the expert team who work passionately to maintain it all year round. Meet at the courtyard behind the house at the time of the tour. Arts and Crafts will also be available in the library all day.
Walk start times are 11:30, 12, and 12:30 each taking 30 minutes.
Vinters Valley Nature Reserve
This 90 acre park on the eastern edge of Maidstone is managed as a nature reserve for disappearing flora and fauna, offering a tranquil spot for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle.
Pond dipping, tree walking, rat splatting (not a real rat), duck hooking (not a real duck either), extravaganza at the reserve with an art and photography competition to boot!
