Join ceramicist Laura Hollis and unleash your inner sculptor, transforming a ball of clay into a beautifully decorated masterpiece.
Enjoy two 2-hour sessions, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, no experience needed.
In session 1 you will be using excellent quality air dry clay, which has "unrivalled strength and plasticity" to build charming pinch pot animal sculptures, with step-by-step instruction. After leaving your pieces to dry for a week, come back for session 2, where you will decoupage your masterpieces with fine and beautiful papers, finishing with a varnish to create a bespoke and quality finished piece to take home and be proud of.

About the teacher/artist
Laura graduated in 2001 with a degree in Print Media and Surface Design. During this time she became interested in silk painting, creating inticate and colourful designs. Laura has continued to develop this skill, taking on commissions, exhibing and selling her work. Laura is also a Ceramicist and teaches pottery at Aylesford Pottery while also making her own collections of ceramic work.
