This solo exhibition by Ayse Akay features a new body of abstract works exploring transformation - the internal processes that shape who we are but often remain unseen. The works focus on emotional and psychological states, translating them into abstract forms through colour, texture, and movement. 

Ayse's practice is intuitive and process-led. Rather than working towards a fixed outcome, each piece develops organically, allowing space for spontaneity and discovery. Ayse works with a combination of texture art, acrylic pouring, alcohol ink, and oil on canvas, using these mediums to build layered surfaces that reflect depth, change, and fluidity.

The result is a series of expressive, tactile works that embody both control and release - where materials move, settle, and transform in their own way.

Visitors can expect abstract paintings that invite personal interpretation, creating a space for reflection, emotion, and connection.
