About

The Charles Dickens and Higham will be a circular walk exploring a handful of the places, landscapes, and local stories that shaped the life and work of one of England’s greatest novelists. Our walk will head across open roads and country lanes in and around Higham, Kent, the route combines literary heritage, social history, and biographical insight, following paths Dickens himself would have known well.
