The Heart of Kent Walking Festival is run by a partnership of organisations and volunteers coming together to create a festival for amblers and ramblers to explore the glorious Kent countryside. If you are interested in finding out more about the festival, subscribe to our newsletter to be informed of exciting updates, ticket releases and announcements including more information about each walk.

WALKS LED BY EXPERTS

Across the festival there will be a number of walks organised and led by local partners. The walks will be of varying difficulty and distance, from 1 mile to 22 miles! Whatever your age or ability, the Heart of Kent Walking Festival offers a unique opportunity to embrace the great outdoors and meet fellow like-minded people.  

GREEN LOCATIONS

The Heart of Kent Walking Festival is taking place in Maidstone and surrounding areas, featuring walks incorporating breathtaking views over the Kent Downs, seasonal bluebells at Hucking Estate and quaint local villages. This is the perfect opportunity to leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life to unwind in nature. 

MAKE IT A WEEKEND
Getting here couldn't be easier, with fantastic railway links from London, quick access by road via the M25 and M26/M20 motorways and three local bus services. Why not take the opportunity to take a weekend getaway, with selection from some of the best international hotels in Kent.
