Heart of Kent Walking Festival

Enjoying walking, meet new people and take place in some of the most beautiful and unique landscapes.

21st - 30th March 2025

Once again it will be spread over 10 days with many wonderful walks to choose from, a great way to explore the beauty that the Maidstone area, and surounding Kent countryside has to offer.

Sustainable Transport and Walking

With sustainability in mind many of the walks will start close to train stations and bus routes. This means you can leave your car at home and enjoy the journey. The train lines travel through some beautiful countryside so all you have to do is relax.

About the Festival Organisers

The 2025 festival is a collaboration of organisations, led by the Visit Maidstone events team at Maidstone Borough Council and include: Kent Community Rail Partnership, Long Distance Walks Association, Walk Wild, Balfour Winery, History Hikers, Boots on Adventures, Hike South East, Augustine Camino, and others.
