Our churchyard is an amazing place. There are so many types of graves/tombs – chest tombs, body tombs, family plots, kerbs, rails, pyramid, war graves and a mausoleum.
Come and hear the stories of four individuals who are buried here – a Victorian Artist, a German Banker, an owner of Boughton Monchelsea Place, and a Naval Commander who received the George Cross during World War 2.
In the event of bad weather, the Tour will become an illustrated Talk inside the church. If you are joining the Tour, please note that the ground is sloping and uneven, so not suitable for those with mobility difficulties – flat shoes are recommended. The church will be open from 2.30 pm (as usual) for visitors wishing to just look around. Tea and Cakes will be available all afternoon.
