Celebrate Steampunk day with Maidstone Museum's special Steampunk featured event. Steampunk is the popular genre of science fiction that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th century industrial steam powered machinery. Join in with the glorious steampunk adventure! Try, buy, fly - it's all at the Maidstone Museum today!

The museum will be screening the classic 1960's version of 'The Time Machine' at 11am. It's free to watch, but you'll need to book your tickets in advance as space is limited.

Try your hand at belly-dancing with Tribal Banshees! There will be free sessions at 11am and 1.30pm - no need to book.

Come and enjoy a reading by local steampunk author, Kit Cox, with sessions at 11.30am and 2pm.

And be captivated by Mesmerit Chris Benkin at 1.30pm. You can enjoy the performance free of charge, but please book your seat in advance.
