A new outdoor sculpture exhibition will be in bloom at Leeds Castle this autumn. See the beautiful estate at “the loveliest Castle in the world” transformed into a stunning outdoor gallery inspired by flowers, plants and gardens. Visitors will be able to spot over 30 floral inspired sculptures, placed sympathetically within gardens and grounds of the historic Castle.

Artists from Kent and further afield, will nestle their individually made garden sculptures against trees in the Princess Alexandra Gardens, along the water’s edge as you stroll along the Lady Baillie Mediterranean Terraces and amongst the beautiful blooms in the Culpeper Gardens. The diverse display of abstract and figurative floral works will feature sculptures created using a variety of different materials from recycled plastic to industrial steel. Each artist will bring something different to this creative celebration of art and flowers.

If you would like to explore the Castle gardens and wider estate further, why not join a weekly historical landscape tour throughout this month long celebration. Tours last approximately one hour and must be pre-booked. Small additional charge applies (further details will be confirmed soon).

Keep children entertained by spotting hand painted Bee sculptures made from recycled metals. Bees will be hiding in trees and gardens around the grounds, challenge yourselves to find them all!

Be sure to visit the pop-up ‘Floral Selfie Bench’ located on the Castle Island. Beautifully created using seasonal blooms, sit amongst the ‘country cottage’ style display to take a photo with the Castle as your backdrop. We’d love to see your photos so remember to tag Leeds Castle in your photos using #SculpturesatheCastle
