Come and meet Jo Ahmet, Archaeological Finds Liaison Officer, and hear him talk about the history of Kent from Prehistory to 1700 through Kentish finds. Jo will bring some artefacts along for you to look at and handle.

Road Directions

The Centre is on the A229, on the 2nd roundabout between junction 6 of the M20 and Maidstone town centre. Free designated parking for Blue Badge holders at the front of the building. 27 Pay & Display spaces by the riverside near the library on James Whatman Way. Nearest long stay car park are at Maidstone East Station and Fremlin Walk. There is also plenty of cycle parking at the front of the building.

Public Transport Directions

Short walk from Maidstone East Staion and from Maidstone Barracks Station. 101 bus from Maidstone to Chatham stops near the building
