Lecture

During its lifetime Leeds Castle has been owned by six medieval Queens of England – Eleanor of Castile, Isabella of France, Anne of Bohemia, Joan of Navarre, Margaret of France and Catherine De Valois. Elizabeth I was imprisoned here for a time before her coronation. Learn more about the reasons Leeds Castle is often referred to as the “ladies Castle”.

Talk will take place in the Queen’s Room at 12pm and is included in the price of admission.

There is no need to pre-book.
