Mumu, for instance, offers a cabaret restaurant in outrageous and over the top surroundings, and attracts top acts from around the country. Dinner is usually followed by a party disco.The Boogie Lounge and Booths offer the sounds of funky-house, electro-house and remixed hits in a sophisticated atmosphere. The Burlesque Suite and Booths offer antique chesterfields, oil paintings, French chandeliers and soul, funk and disco music every Saturday night.
Strawberry Moons is one of the busier and popular night clubs in Maidstone with DJ sets and is laid out on three floors, with a Show Bar on the ground floor, Opium on the first floor and a VIP bar for the over 21s on the 2nd floor.
Source Bar and Bar Chocolate are in the centre of town close to the theatre. Source Bar is a fun location with Bass/Urban and House DJ’s while Bar Chocolate is a large lounge party venue with a huge dance floor, food and cocktails and is a great place to start an evening out. DJ’s start the evening with chilled out music and as the evening progresses the volume cranks up with soulful and funky house into the small hours.
The Gallery Nightclub has an R&B lounge which is a lot of fun and has many guests DJ’s.
Players is a Gentlemen’s Club and can be found in the lower end of the High Street.
Rafters is a great little venue which frequently puts on live music and has a restaurant below.
